According to recent studies, treating gum disease may help keep your heart healthy. That’s a good reason to make your oral health care a priority and a part of your daily routine. Another way to maintain a healthy heart is to exercise regularly. At Prescott Dentistry in Prescott, AZ, we focus on staying healthy. With that in mind, we’d like to highlight a fun weekend event that can get you out exercising and benefits members of our Prescott community. Our team at Prescott Dentistry invites you to come out to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s 5k Fun Run, in honor of those who have served our region and our nation. If you’re interested in this family-friendly event, here are all the details you will need to know:
Annual POW/MIA 5k Fun Run
What: The Student Veterans Organization and the Arnold Air-Society at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University are sponsoring the 5k Fun Run in honor of prisoners of war and service members who are missing in action. This run is to remember those who have served and those who are MIA. People of all ages are welcome to attend, and if you like, you can even bring your dog!
Where: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. 3700 Willow Creek Rd, Prescott, AZ 86301
Date & Time: Saturday, March 31st. Registration begins at 8am. The run starts at 9 am.
Hosted By: The Student Veterans Organization and the Arnold Air Society
Cost: Pre-registration: Students and Veterans pay $15, General public pays $20. Day of Event prices: Students and Veterans pay $20, general public will pay $25.
The 5K Fun Run at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is not only great for participating in a heart-healthy exercise, but it also represents a community coming together to thank those who have served our country. While our Prescott Dentistry patients are participating in events that promote healthy living and honor our servicemen and women, we want to remind you to keep up with your dental health.
