Dentsply Sirona is a world leader in manufacturing dental supplies and equipment. In fact, the CEREC machine that we use in our office to provide same-day crowns and onlays to our patients is one of their many technologically advanced products.
Dr. German attended this conference to gain more knowledge on another one of their products; a Cone Beam Computed Tomography machine (CBCT for short). This machine uses a cone-shaped beam and digital processing to reconstruct a virtually distortion-free 3-D image of the patient’s complete skull or dental anatomy in a single pass, depending on the view.
A CBCT scan provides dentists and dental specialists with a critical and highly accurate diagnostic and treatment-planning tool.
